The Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art Software Applications where researchers are utilizing available databases, contribute to database development, design experiments and analyse experimental data according to global best practice.  

 

In the Centre, faculty, students, post doc research fellows, and community members work in a collaborative environment to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret real life data at University of Port-Harcourt. The Centre is dedicated to exploring the intersection of technology, engineering, public policy, management sciences, and the social sciences. The center brings evidence through research to policy makers, innovation through research to private investors, partners, and new tools to harness the economic, and environmental challenges.  The center increases student success through research, builds vital community partnerships, and invites individuals to become members of an intellectually diverse, research-active community.

The Centre is set up to mine and analyse data to support research and innovation and improve the profile of the University of Port Harcourt. The novelty of this initiative is that it will generate revenue for the University through contract research and database management. In addition, the Centre will monitor the global and national ranking of the University and give brief Management.
